Emirates’ super-jumbo was fully-booked for its first flight, with 339 passengers in economy, 76 using the fully-flat business class seats and 14 in the exclusive Private Suites of first class. The plane features a host of new on-board features including shower spas and a lounge. Emirates will take delivery of five more super-jumbos before the end of the year and plans to introduce the aircraft on routes to New York, as well as flights to London Heathrow, Sydney and Auckland. Meanwhile, the airline introduced an in-flight mobile phone service last week. The system will allow passengers onboard 777-300 aircraft to make calls and send text messages during flights to Europe and Australia. Patrick Brannelly, vice president of passenger communications and visual services, said: “The technology is another example of our dedication to always being the first airline to offer passengers groundbreaking technology and services.” ReturnOne wayMulti-cityFromAdd nearby airports ToAdd nearby airportsDepart14/08/2019Return21/08/2019Cabin Class & Travellers1 adult, EconomyDirect flights onlySearch flights Map RelatedThai Airways to use A380s on London flightsThai Airways to use A380s on London flightsEmirates to launch Airbus A380 on its flights to Bangkok from TorontoEmirates Airlines will introduce the double-decker Airbus A380 aircraft on its flights to Bangkok and Toronto from June 1st.Emirates introduces new flights to BangkokEmirates introduces new flights to Bangkoklast_img
